Basing

I thought I would share the basing of my flyers. I started by sticking sprews and bits to the base and then added foliage to look like smoke from some kind of fire. Then I stuck sand and waited for it to dry, once dry I stuck on scarabs :3 it has yet to be sprayed and painted.

NEW STUFF!

Here fresh from gw's auction for the old and unsellable is my latest pick ups :) also some future projects and stuff. I got the metal models from an auction my gw had :) fire dragons, scorpions and hawks for £10 and a dark eldar succubus for £1. also im working on 2 badly moulded warlocks and 6 scorpions for a friend.

Farseer Sienna

Here we have the unfinished Farseer Sienna. I was given this to paint by a friend as he asked me to and I said I would. I started with the crystal on the blade and worked across finishing at the free hand on the back. The free hand is sloppy I know but its down to the fact its not my model and its only table top standard. So for the most part she is finished. I don't have much else to say about her so I will end it here :)

Well after a break from painting I learned a bit more towards bettering myself :3 So I am back to share what I learned and what I am working on. Please sit back and enjoy. So the first thing I have been working on is a c'tan shard. The story behind this guy is that my local store are having a painting competition and the top 3 are being photographed for white dwarf. If you have seen the flyers in white dwarf (the orange doom scythe, blueish storm raven, green/blue dark eldar plane) then you have seen the work of the person coming to photograph the winners. So he was a distraction from painting my tournament army for throne of skulls as well as a chance to get into white dwarf.
